A deserved point in Novi Sad - Novi Sad vs. Senta (66/67)

Senta surprised their hosts: they played assertively, firmly and calmly, defended in an organised way and launched quick counter-attacks. Their opening goal came from one of these: Bajusz set off from the halfway line, won a race with the defender, went round the goalkeeper, who came out badly, and scored from a sharp angle.

Most of the match was played in the visitors' half, but the home forward line was helpless. Novi Sad equalised in the 26th minute after a huge scramble. Senta deserved their point, and had their forwards been more inventive in the closing minutes they could even have won. The whole team deserves praise.
