A deserved point in the Tisa derby in Ada - AFK vs. Senta (75/76)

The Ada crowd went home disappointed, because after the previous round's away win everyone expected a sure home victory. The spirited Senta side, however, outdid the Ada team, fought for every ball and deservedly took a point; with more luck they could even have won. As early as the 6th minute Nikola Zmukić took the ball off a defender who was dribbling needlessly and set off towards goal, and his tremendous shot struck the crossbar with the goalkeeper already beaten.

The hosts could not impose their game on Senta at all: the visitors conceded midfield, but their defence dealt with everything and their sporadic attacks were often dangerous. Senta held firm in the second half too, and in the 48th minute Bito broke through on the right wing and the Ada goalkeeper only just kept out his close-range shot. Towards the end the referee had more to do as well, and four players were booked.
