In cold weather the teams produced a match of low quality, and a fairly rough one. In the first half Banat, with the wind behind them, were somewhat better and went ahead in the 45th minute with a long-range shot.

The second half was rough too, and the referee sent off a player from each side for deliberate fouls. After countless missed chances Senta equalised midway through the half through Vrana. The last minutes were scrappy. Preradov and Gvozdenović I. stood out.
