A fourth win in a row - Senta vs. Tavankut (80/81)

Senta did not thrill their supporters in their second home match either. With the best will in the world the players could not produce what they had planned, or what the football public expected of them. It was to be expected that Tavankut, in a difficult position, would do everything to improve it; to judge by their play they had quietly come for at least a point.

Božić's men began the match with a string of attacks, while the visitors defended desperately inside their own box. Agoston put the hosts ahead in the 35th minute and Rozsa doubled the lead a minute before the break. M. Tumbas pulled one back in the 65th minute, but Senta held on to win.
