A game of two halves to open the season - Senta vs. Preporod (91/92)

A promising first half was followed by a very poor second. For the first 45 minutes the hosts were on top almost throughout and, besides their two goals, missed three clear chances. They went ahead in the 13th minute, Farago heading in a Roganović corner. Two minutes later Roganović was alone in front of the goalkeeper, but his attempted lob went just over the bar. He made up for it in the 32nd: picking the ball up in a good position, he shook off the defenders with some fine footwork and shot into the top right corner. The visitors threatened only once, in the 37th minute, when Čabrilo shot wide.

The second half began with a series of attacks by the visitors, who pulled one back as early as the 50th minute: a free kick from the corner of the box led to a goalmouth scramble, and Čabrilo scored. Preporod then took complete control while the hosts inexplicably faded. It was uncertain until the end whether both points would stay in Senta, and the win was saved above all by the defenders, who gave everything in that period.
