A goalless Tisa derby in front of 750 - Senta vs. AFK (76/77)

After Wednesday's cup tie, in which Senta beat Ada 3:0, many believed the hosts would keep the points at home, but the Tisa derby ended goalless. At the start both sides played hurriedly and at times roughly, and the referee had to reach for the yellow card. Once the players saw how freely he was handing them out, they calmed down somewhat.

Towards the end of the second half each side had several clear-cut chances but did not take them. An Ada forward found himself face to face with Gyolai, but the Senta goalkeeper, who was the best player on the pitch, turned his fierce shot behind for a corner. After that Božić, Mihaly Soti and Bito had chances, but luck was not with them. Krizsan and Pribić were shown red cards. Gyolai, Kalmar, Čulibrk and Spremo stood out for Senta.
