A Gyorgy Soti header earns victory in Mali Iđoš - Eđšeg vs. Senta (76/77)

Eđšeg suffered an unexpected defeat in their first home match of the spring. It was a contest between equals, and the luckier side won. The first chance fell to Senta, when Mihaly Soti shot wide from ten metres. Kisjovak then had a chance too, and in the 29th minute the home goalkeeper made a brilliant save from a Bito shot from three metres.

In the second half as well both goals were in danger several times. Senta again started the better. In the 65th minute Todorović broke down the left, but the goalkeeper saved his shot. The visitors' goal came in the 72nd minute: Gyorgy Soti met a cross from the left with an unstoppable header into the left corner. A few minutes later the hosts could have equalised, and in the 78th minute goalkeeper Gyolai distinguished himself again. On the run of play a draw would have been fairer.
