In great heat, in a match with nothing at stake, the two teams produced a good game. The hosts took more of the initiative but could not convert their chances: in the first half Marković twice headed wide from close range, and Matić and Milivojev also missed theirs.

In the second half the visitors tried too, but Andrusko made a brilliant save from Stepančev's close-range shot. The decisive goal came in the 89th minute, when Milivojev scored from a free kick from 20 metres.
