A narrow defeat by Zvezda in Subotica - Zvezda vs. Senta (60/61)

The result could have gone the other way if Kaplar, having rounded the goalkeeper too, had not shot wide, and if Šetalo and Bene had each taken their two certain chances. Still, this narrow defeat by a former Vojvodina league side, and in Subotica at that, is almost as good as a win. The first goal came from a mistake by Guljaš, playing his first match for the team, and goalkeeper Đurčik: each waited for the other, and the alert Malagurski took advantage.

The goal did not break Senta but spurred them on, and early in the second half they managed to equalise. The Subotica side then won the match with a 30-metre shot from Bukvić: jumping for the ball, Đurčik slipped on the slippery ground and the ball dropped into the net.
