A narrow defeat in Subotica - Bačka vs. Senta (69/70)

The meeting of the two north Bačka rivals produced football of medium quality. In the first half, especially the first quarter of an hour, Bačka had a slight edge. After half an hour the referee sent off a player from each side for unsporting behaviour. The only goal came two minutes before the break, when Bojović headed in from close range after a corner from the left.

In the second half the hosts set out to defend their lead. In the 57th minute Senta nearly equalised: they had three shots at goal, but the ball ended up in the goalkeeper's hands. The visitors mounted wave after wave, but their forwards rarely shot. Two minutes from the end Košec broke away on the right and found Božić, whose thunderbolt the goalkeeper bravely saved. Tobias and Bukvić stood out for Senta.
