A Pinter thunderbolt to close the autumn - Senta vs. Proleter (89/90)

Before the match the players of both teams observed a minute's silence in memory of the victims of the serious mining disaster in Aleksinac, and club president Dr Janos Toth Abonyi then presented gifts to the two Senta players leaving for military service, Matić and Paku. In the derby between the two neighbouring sides, played in sunny but cold weather, the crowd saw a match of average quality with many missed chances, both for Senta and for the visitors from Čoka.

Early in the second half the visitors gained a slight territorial edge and threatened the home goal several times. They could have gone ahead in the 59th minute, but even from a clear chance Nikolić could not get past the home defence. The hosts then took control again. In the 65th minute the battle was inside the visitors' box: Farago headed the ball on to Pinter, who from the corner of the area drove it into the bottom left corner past a slightly badly positioned Dukai. The visitors then threw everything forward, and in the 68th minute Barbat could have equalised but missed a big chance. There were openings at both ends until the final whistle, but the score did not change.
