Senta played poorly and disjointedly. The visitors were forced to defend but also mounted several dangerous attacks around the middle of the first half. The home forwards missed many good chances until Kispal scored the first goal in the 37th minute; five minutes later the visitors equalised.

In the 50th minute Boljanović was brought down inside the box, but the penalty went over the bar. In the 65th minute Radnički went ahead from a 25-metre free kick, and Vrana set the final score in the 77th.
