A poor start to the spring - Senta vs. ŽAK (68/69)

Senta started badly: in the first 45 minutes they simply could not find their game, and the hurried, inaccurate play disappointed the supporters. The visitors, set up to defend, always cleared in time, so in the first half hardly either goal was in danger.

After the break the tempo was a little higher. From the 60th minute Senta took the initiative, but the forwards wasted one chance after another; in the 65th minute a Mašulović shot missed by centimetres. In the 75th minute ŽAK had a free kick from some 20 metres: the ball rebounded off the wall to Zorić, who took advantage of the defence's hesitation and scored easily. In the last quarter of an hour Senta attacked hard but could not equalise. Toth and Gvozdenović I. stood out.
