With a sparkling display and almost constant territorial superiority Senta earned a win over visitors from Feketić who battled as equals to the end. The highlight of the match was once again Kovacs, Senta's leading scorer, who scored twice and fought hard in midfield too. The same goes for right-back Harmat, who with his exemplary performance and clean, assured tackling was the best player on the pitch. The hosts could have led as early as the 2nd minute, when Verba hit the post. Straight afterwards Kovacs set up Gajda, but his header cleared the bar by inches. Jadran were pinned back completely, and in twenty minutes of home pressure at least three more clear chances went begging. The visitors first threatened in the 21st minute.
The home pressure continued after the break and Farago put his side ahead in the 47th minute: Potpara ran down the left, his shot struck the post, and Farago put the rebound away without hesitation. The visitors then threw everything forward in search of an equaliser; there were chances at both ends, but the forwards missed them. In the 75th minute Kovacs shook off the defence and scored past the advancing goalkeeper to make it 2:0. Jadran pulled one back through Ilić in the 80th minute, but Kovacs set the final score two minutes later.
