The match was played on the auxiliary pitch, which was in very poor condition. Both sides started at full tilt, but the hosts' superiority showed from the outset. In the 26th minute Boljanović scored a superb goal from a solo run. The visitors then withdrew into defence, yet Vlaščić still made it 2:0.

After the break the play was slack. Polet got on top, but it was Vlaščić who scored again. Kopas, Hajnrih and Vlaščić stood out, as did Ilić for the visitors.
