A win over Železničar to open the championship - Senta vs. Železničar (51/52)

The game began with fierce Senta attacks, so the visitors from Inđija settled into defence and only occasionally broke forward with a long ball. Senta could not turn their technical superiority in the first half into a goal: in the 36th minute Milojević shot a whisker wide from about 16 metres, and in the 43rd Kalman missed a big chance.

Both sides played more calmly in the second half. Three minutes after the restart Kalman headed in a ball that Fogaras had lofted into the goalmouth. The Železničar defenders tried to stop Senta's attacks by fouling at every turn. Fajka and Milojević each missed a good chance, and then, after a quick move between Fogaras, Đorđević and Milojević, the last of them scored the second goal. The visitors pulled one back three minutes later through Petrović.
