A win to start the spring - Senta vs. Slavija (54/55)

The first league match of the season in Senta was of middling standard. The heavy pitch tested the fitness of both sides. The visitors can boast superb condition, though it is a pity it showed mainly in rough play. Senta were the more technical side.

Slavija even had more chances, but their forward line proved weak against Čolović, who cleared everything. At the start the home side played nervously; it showed that it was an early-season match. Jovović, Buza, Černak and Kalman stood out. The referee handled the match well.
