A win with ten men over Njegoš - Senta vs. Njegoš (78/79)

In a match of variable, moderate tempo the hosts won with difficulty but deservedly. While the visitors competed in a sporting spirit, one or two of the home players sometimes forgot themselves, and Sablatura was sent off, having first been booked. The hosts attacked throughout, and the goals were the result of bad defensive errors. The first half was midfield play: Senta had good chances in the 24th, 27th and 30th minutes, but nobody to finish them. Todorović sent in many useful balls from the left wing which went unused, while right-winger Bito's crosses kept failing.

The hosts attacked even more in the second half. In the 55th minute the pressure paid off: the visiting goalkeeper caught and then dropped a cross from the right, and Štrbački, unchallenged, scored the opening goal. After that the visitors' attacks grew more and more dangerous. Sablatura was sent off in the 70th minute. In the 75th Krizsan, before a defender could reach a long ball, lofted it into the net from some 25 metres. In the 82nd minute, after a scramble in front of the home goal, Sipos made it 2:1. Soti, Krivokapić, Rozsa and Todorović stood out for the hosts.
