In a match of average quality the hosts were deserved winners. The yellow-and-blues from the banks of the Tisa started on top and led quickly: in the 4th minute Mazak ran forward with the ball and was fouled some 30 metres out. Agoston struck the free kick low, Kovačev was badly positioned and the ball ended up in the net. For more than half an hour after the goal the visitors had the better of the territory, without any real threat. Nikolić missed one promising chance, in the 17th minute a Mazak shot came back off the crossbar and Kitli put the rebound wide. In the 35th minute the Sokolac defence was in trouble, but Kitli and Nikolić hesitated a moment too long.
After the break two evenly matched sides battled for a while, the visitors slightly on top but never getting beyond the edge of the box, as the home defence dealt with every attack. The second goal came in the 67th minute: after a move between Kitli and Nikolić the ball reached the onrushing Csuzdi, who volleyed in a superb goal. The visitors then turned rough, three of them were booked, and Medaković, already on a yellow card, was sent off in the 73rd minute for a harsh tackle. Sokolac played out the match with nine outfield players.
