Both teams played disappointingly badly and without organisation. The first chance came in the 16th minute, when Hubai shot wide at the end of a quick visiting counter-attack. In the very next minute the hosts created two openings, but the finishing let them down.

After the break Njegoš went on the attack in all-or-nothing fashion, which nearly backfired, as the hosts created chance after chance only for the Senta goalkeeper Arokszallasi to keep them all out. Shortly before the end a weak shot came off a Senta defender to Radulović, who put his side ahead. The hosts deserved their win, having played marginally the better.
