After a run of failures the Subotica side made use of home advantage and took two very important points. Sever went ahead in the 15th minute with a long-range shot.

Later the visitors equalised after a botched intervention by a home defender, who put the ball into his own net in the 65th minute. In the end Sever still got the win, with a penalty two minutes from time.
