An Agoston goal earns a point in Duboka - Panonija vs. Senta (81/82)

The match was played in cold weather with occasional rain, which affected the quality of the football, and that can only be described as average. The opening brought a midfield battle between the two penalty areas, with the goalkeepers having the least to do and easily dealing with any dangerous balls. Only after half an hour did the forwards create a serious chance apiece.

The start of the second half was a cold shower for the hosts: a home defender failed to control a long ball, Agoston took it off him and shot past the surprised goalkeeper. After Senta's goal the home players pulled themselves together and launched furious attacks. They could have equalised as early as the 55th minute, but Bogunović, unchallenged six metres out, lifted the ball over an empty goal. In the 65th minute they did manage it: after a short corner Markov punched the cross away, the ball reached Milojev and he shot without hesitation into the top right corner.
