An early lead, then Sloboda turn it round - Senta vs. Sloboda (80/81)

What happened was something hardly any football follower in Senta had imagined. The lads from Stara Moravica, fighting relegation, deservedly took both points with a spirited display from a Senta side playing far below its ability. The hosts' opening goal in the 3rd minute spurred the visitors on: they staked everything and stepped up their counter-attacks, and as early as the 7th minute Pavagyi missed a clear chance to equalise. In the 10th minute Farago tried a powerful shot from distance but missed the target.

The visitors built their attacks in a quicker and more organised way, with Borković and Škrbić especially dangerous. The Senta defence often resembled an open door, particularly on the left, and the home defenders' casualness was punished more than once. That was how the equaliser came in the 18th minute, scored by Borković. The hosts did not learn from their mistakes, and six minutes after the equaliser they paid again: a Maleš thunderbolt from twenty metres went in off the post. Borković later added his second.
