An equal Senta beaten in the closing stages - Dinamo vs. Senta (53/54)

Senta were serious, equal opponents for last season's champions. The corner count in the first half shows as much: Senta won five and Dinamo none. Although the first half was goalless, the game was played at a fairly brisk pace; the lack of goals was down to the two defences playing well and the forwards being unable to score.

After the 20th minute Senta gained considerable territorial superiority, but their forwards could not exploit it, and in the 33rd minute the hosts missed a great chance when the ball went over from five metres. The second half began with a Senta attack and the pace rose minute by minute. Medenica put the visitors ahead in the 55th minute, but Dinamo turned the result round with goals in the 77th and 80th.
