An important win in Subotica - Bačka vs. Senta (70/71)

Senta surprised their opponents with good, spirited football. They attacked fiercely from the first minute, which was understandable, as they badly needed the points. As early as the 7th minute Bajusz drove the ball into the bottom left corner in a goalmouth scramble. As time went on the game settled into midfield play.

After the turnaround Senta pressed again, and in the 52nd minute Bajusz ran down the left and found Božić, who scored from close range. The hosts regrouped only in the last half hour and pulled one back in the 67th minute with a 15-metre shot, but four minutes from the end Pinter sent the ball under the bar from 25 metres. Bajusz and Soti were Senta's best players.
