An unexpectedly heavy defeat in Bačka Topola - Topola vs. Senta (59/60)

The trip to Topola ended in an unexpectedly heavy failure. The result might have been different had Pinter taken a certain chance in the 11th minute, but he shot wide from close range. The defence held firm until Tot was injured in an unlucky fall, after which he could not play on. The home forwards only broke through in the 43rd minute, winning a corner from which Šuljok headed the goal.

The Senta forwards could not find their shooting boots; Bajić and then Totabonji missed certain chances. In the second half, after the injuries to Tot and then Đorđević, the defence gave way too. Topola went all out and settled the score with a penalty that was too harshly given and a goal from a scramble. The home side played well and deserved to win.
