The rejuvenated home side proved itself again. After two successive draws, one of them away, it played with spirit from start to finish and earned a win over Prigrevica, who were 11th in the table. For the first 15 minutes the hosts pinned their opponents back. In the 16th minute Agoston put Gajda clean through, but he did not take the chance. The visitors then took control for a short spell: Đukić tried to beat Vitković, but the goalkeeper was equal to it every time. Home attacks followed again, and in the 38th minute Belec put his side ahead.
The second half was a contest between two evenly matched teams, though the hosts' attacks were the more dangerous. In the 54th minute Belec scored a spectacular volley from a Potpara cross. In the 65th minute Toth Abonyi received a second yellow card after an overly harsh decision, and from then on the home side played with ten men, which showed clearly in their play. The visitors then threw everything forward to turn the match round, but could not break down the home defence; indeed, Senta answered their rare attacks with dangerous counters. Prigrevica only managed to pull one back in the 86th minute, Đukić forcing the ball in from a goalmouth scramble.
