Borbely earns the win over Vršac in front of 1,000 - Senta vs. Vršac (68/69)

For most of the match the crowd saw varied, quick, inventive attacks. The score does not reflect the ninety minutes, for Senta could have scored half a dozen, but their forwards, as several times lately, missed many chances. Kispal, until he was injured in the first half, led almost every attack, and after that Abraham roamed the whole pitch from the left wing. Vršac were a hard nut to crack and answered attack with attack.

The goal came in the 36th minute: Tobias lofted a ball in front of goal, Borbely nipped in and steered it under the diving goalkeeper. After that Senta mounted countless more attacks and wasted a whole string of clear-cut chances. Borbely, Bognar and Tobias stood out.
