On a genuinely summery day Senta beat a side that had already clinched the league title. The hosts went ahead in the 12th minute, Nemanja Nikolić converting a penalty, but around ten minutes later Ostrogonac equalised with a superbly struck free kick.

The visitors had the territorial advantage, but the Senta defence, led by goalkeeper Ozvegy, stood firm. Bačka 1901 attacked in vain in the second half too, and two counter-attacks brought Senta an important win: Jelić scored in the 62nd minute and Nikolić in the 82nd.
