Senta's win was fully deserved. The first half was even, although the visitors looked slightly the better side. In the 47th minute referee Miljković, to everyone's astonishment, awarded the hosts a penalty, which Sovilj converted.

Senta then went all out for goals, and it paid off. Milivojev converted a Popov cross at the end of a well-rehearsed move, and in the 73rd minute he finished a sharp cross from the overlapping Farkas to settle the game.
