A poor pitch prevented any attractive football. The hosts showed more initiative in the first half, and in the 30th minute Banić headed in from close range after a corner as the Senta defence switched off.

The game livened up after the break and the visitors had chances: Jović, completely unmarked, shot wide from close range in the 60th minute, Radin hit the crossbar from distance in the 66th, and Stojanov missed the biggest chance of the game in the 71st, also striking the bar from five metres. The score did not change.
