Deak's 30-metre thunderbolt breaks Njegoš - Senta vs. Njegoš (77/78)

Not much happened on the pitch in the first half. The goals were only rarely threatened; both teams had a few half-chances, but no goals came of them. After the turnaround the same lukewarm play continued right up to the 71st minute.

Then Deak, coming forward, scored an unstoppable goal with a tremendous shot from 30 metres. The home side took heart and launched attack after attack. In the 79th minute Kalman was alone in front of the goalkeeper but squandered the chance. A minute later, after a cross, a visiting defender handled inside the penalty area and Popović converted the penalty. The visitors pulled one back through Lješar in the 87th minute.
