Defeat in Bečej in front of 1,200 - Bečej vs. Senta (67/68)

In an exciting match the hosts got the better of their old rivals. After a few minutes of probing they launched bold attacks and forced Senta to defend: in the 7th minute they went ahead with a shot into the top right corner, and in the 10th they scored a second. Three minutes later Kispal had an ideal chance to pull one back but headed over from a few metres.

Until half-time the Senta forward line fought flat out. In the second half the visitors stepped up and created a number of dangerous chances, but the home defence, sometimes with last-ditch efforts, always managed to clear.
