Defeat in Kruščić to end the season - Mladost vs. Senta (88/89)

The two relegated sides produced very good football in their farewell match. Although the hosts completely outplayed their opponents, it was the visitors who took the lead in the 15th minute. That spurred Mladost on to play even better: they equalised in the 32nd minute and three minutes later were in front.

When the hosts scored a fourth early in the second half and then missed another five or six clear chances, it was all over. Ten minutes from the end Senta pulled one back.
