In the first half each side had one promising chance: first Đurić after a free kick, but he was a moment late, and Romić could have scored in almost the same way, but he too arrived too late.

The second half was more eventful. Right at the start Kovačević hit the bar, and in the 62nd minute goalkeeper Živkov struck Kovačević with both hands near the penalty spot as he was about to put the ball into the empty net. The Senta goalkeeper was shown the red card and the hosts were given a penalty, which Romić converted. Kovačević and Hoscieslavski then had excellent chances, but the ball was too quick for them as well.
