On Saturday Železničar produced their best performance of the spring and beat a Senta side three places above them in the table. In the first forty-five minutes the visitors struggled against opponents whose short passing often brought them close to goal and who combined nicely in midfield, yet who could not create a serious chance despite spending at least half an hour in the Senta half. Left winger Todorović was the liveliest of the visitors, but his crosses were regularly gathered by the home goalkeeper.
Both sides played with more bite in the second half. Todorović soon had the chance to put Senta ahead, but his drive whistled past the post. A quarter of an hour from the end came the only goal of the match: after a run past two or three players the ball reached Antić, who found the bottom right corner from seven or eight metres. Straight afterwards the hosts again ran through the whole defence, but Markov turned the close-range shot behind for a corner. Senta finished the championship in third place, with 40 points and a goal difference of 57:36.
