Defeat in the match of the round at Palić - Palić vs. Senta (76/77)

In the match of the round Senta did not live up to the hopes pinned on their trip to Palić: this time the team played in a very disjointed fashion. In the 20th minute, after a 25-metre Azucki free kick, the ball went into Senta's own net off Csikos's heel. Before the break Senta had a chance to equalise, but Krizsan's shot went over the bar.

In the second half the visitors raised the tempo, but the match turned rough as a result, not helped by the indecision of the referee, who showed five yellow cards. In the 61st minute Azucki was brought down inside the area and converted the penalty himself. Twenty minutes from the end Senta pulled one back, also from the spot, Bito scoring after a home defender had handled. In the closing stages the unmarked Horvath missed the chance to equalise, and in the 89th minute Kitanović set the final score with a diving header from a Milenković cross. Gyolai and I. Zmukić stood out for Senta.
