Defeat in the Tisa derby at Horgoš - Horgoš vs. Senta (77/78)

The Tisa derby began with interesting play and strong challenges. The first twenty minutes were spent in midfield, and Sadojević scored the first goal at the end of a quick attack. The visitors played robustly and yellow cards followed one after another, with the hosts answering in kind. In the 38th minute Štrbački sent a harmless-looking ball past the goalkeeper into the net, so the sides went in level at 1:1.

The second half again began with midfield play. Both teams had chances but did not take them until the 70th minute, when the hosts went back in front. Senta lost their heads and tried to equalise by playing hard. As a counter-attack was being launched Todorović went for an opponent and was sent off, and a Horgoš full-back suffered the same fate for a rough tackle. With ten men each the hosts attacked more, and in the 80th minute, after a foul inside the penalty area, Terzić set the final score from the spot. Rozsa and Vukmirović stood out for Senta.
