Defeat to Inđija dispels the hope - Senta vs. Inđija (73/74)

The one-goal win over Panonija had raised Senta's hopes, but Budovački dispelled them in the 33rd minute by heading a cross into the net. In the remaining 57 minutes the hosts could not equalise. It was not, in fact, the only time the ball crossed the line: in the 15th minute the visitors had already beaten Nagynemedi, but the referee disallowed the goal for offside.

The match was hard but sporting and fast. There were countless chances at both ends, but the forwards missed them one after another. In fairness, Inđija's attacks were far more dangerous: whenever they cleared their own lines the visitors regularly broke at speed, and the home defence had plenty to do.
