As the season nears its end, Zorka are playing better and better. On Saturday too they put in a good performance, built inventive attacks, showed plenty of fight and beat opponents who played attractively but to no effect. The hosts' perceptible superiority was worth a goal in each half. Zorka could have gone ahead after only a quarter of an hour, but Gyolai tipped a header behind with a superb reaction. Before the teams went in for the break, Marjanović sent a cross from the right into the top left corner between dallying defenders.

The Subotica side stayed on top after the interval, and in the 65th minute the match was decided: Gyolai carried the ball outside the box and passed it to a defender, who lost it, and Vučenović lobbed into the empty goal from 25 metres.
