The rain kept the expected crowd down a little, but some 600 spectators still turned out for the Tisa derby. As anticipated, the hosts controlled the first 45 minutes and built a convincing lead through goals from Basa, Adilović and Lacko.
Instead of carrying on in the same vein, Potisje eased off considerably after the interval and handed the initiative to the visitors, who played better than their hosts in the second half. Farago made it 3:1 in the 63rd minute, but there was no more to come. Despite many missed chances the hosts justified their role as favourites and deserved the win, and the referee had a very good game.
