Down to nine men against Partizan - Partizan vs. Senta (60/61)

Without Đorđević and Kaplar, Senta lost this important match too, as so often this autumn, because the forward line could not score. In the first half the opponents hardly got a look-in, but the final shot was always missing: during a spell of superiority lasting until the 45th minute Pinter and then Šetalo missed great chances, sending the ball over and wide from close range.

Tot was injured in the first-half onslaught and did not come out for the second half, so Senta had to carry on with nine men. Partizan meanwhile regrouped and, after a hard fight, broke through the defence midway through the second half to score the first goal. Soon afterwards, again from a defensive lapse, the Subotica side added the second. Buza, Vereš and Kablar played well.

Partizan - FK Senta 2:0 (0:0)
