Eighty years of football in Senta: the club prepares for its jubilee (1984/1985)

The football club in Senta was founded eighty years ago. At its meeting on Wednesday evening, 9 January, the club's board decided to set up an organising committee to mark the anniversary, which will draw up the jubilee programme and organise and run the celebration.

At the same meeting it was agreed that conditioning work for the resumption of the championship will begin on 15 January, and on the 20th at the latest, in the gym of the 11 November Primary School, under physical education teacher Andras Bognar. Instead of the training camp away from Senta that had been planned, the club will buy tracksuits and renew its equipment, which is incomplete and worn out.

Transfers were also discussed. The board members undertook to talk to the footballers who wish to play for Senta, to explain the conditions to them and to take steps on the players' outstanding issues.
