It was a long time since the crowd had seen so many goals. Senta attacked mainly through their two quick wingers. Bajusz scored the first with a thunderbolt from some 18 metres, and three minutes later the same player was brought down inside the penalty area and Božić converted the penalty.

It was 3:0 at the break, and in the second half the hosts scored eight more.
