The spring half of the season began with first against second. The hosts held the initiative for almost the whole match but kept missing their chances. In the 25th minute Đuričin, completely unmarked, fired over from five metres, and in the 37th Sarapa shot straight at the visiting goalkeeper from close range.
Senta stepped up the pressure after the break, yet Sarapa, Đuričin and Matić all failed to take the best openings. The deadlock was finally broken in the 70th minute: Vukasović was brought down in the box and Nedučić converted the penalty with confidence. The win looked secure, but in the 94th minute Ivić punished a lapse in the home defence after a corner and earned the visitors a point.
