First defeat for the previously unbeaten AFK - Senta vs. AFK (61/62)

Before the meeting of the two old rivals the mood in Senta was rather uncertain: the visitors had not lost a match until then, while Senta had been heavily beaten in Subotica in the previous round. Both sides started nervously, but the hosts soon settled and took control of midfield. Božić had a good chance as early as the 5th minute, Deak in the 15th, and in the 27th and 28th minutes Božić again, then Bošnjak and Vujadinović, but the excellent goalkeeper Popović always intervened in time.

In the 10th minute of the second half Vujadinović converted Bošnjak's cross. Ten minutes later AFK equalised, but soon afterwards the visitors conceded an own goal, and Maksimović set the final score. The hosts played much the more technical football and deserved the two points.
