First defeat of the season in Krivaja - Krivaja vs. Senta (84/85)

It was a real festival of football in Krivaja, where the hosts received the best-placed team in the league. It was clear from the first minutes that both sides had prepared superbly for the big match. The first goal took half an hour to arrive, Ceran heading in a Terzić cross from the right. Both teams had countless chances before the break, but there were no more goals.

Senta equalised in the 46th minute: straight from the restart the visitors strolled through the Krivaja half, Zmukić laid the ball off nicely and Gyetvai shot past the goalkeeper. After the goal the hosts threw everything into attack. In the 60th minute Terzić was roughly brought down in the box and Vidić converted the penalty. The 2:1 lead gave Krivaja even more momentum: they took complete control, the chances kept coming and in the 72nd minute a Ceran header made it 3:1. In the 80th minute Terzić broke down the left, dribbled his way into the box and scored with an unstoppable shot. Senta played excellent, sporting football, with Dukai, Gyetvai and Vukmirović standing out for the visitors.
