First-half lead lost in Horgoš - Horgoš vs. Senta (85/86)

The crowd saw a match played at a very good tempo. Both teams created chances in the first quarter of an hour, and on one counter-attack, after a defensive error in front of the home goal, the visitors went ahead through Olajos. The hosts struggled to find their feet after that, while Senta played with more drive. Both sides had further chances before the break, but the forwards could not take them.

In the second half the hosts made two changes and freshened up the side, took control and attacked more, and in the 52nd minute Veselinov equalised, again from a goalmouth scramble. Towards the end Horgoš did most of the attacking and Senta could only try to counter. In the 75th minute the hosts got the winner: Marković was released down the right, ran clear and scored past the helpless goalkeeper. Horgoš deserved their win, even though they are among the relegation candidates.
