First spring win after coming from behind - Senta vs. Hajduk (80/81)

The lads from the banks of the Tisa finally got their first win of the spring. They all fought with commitment, but the eagerness often led to poor control and misplaced passes. The first ten minutes were mostly midfield play, with Hajduk slightly on top. The visitors also went ahead: Leškov ran on to a through ball between two defenders and scored unstoppably from 14 metres. The visitors' joy lasted about nine minutes, until Nikola Zmukić equalised with a thunderous shot from the edge of the box. In the 38th minute Roganović was fouled near the area and Štrbački made it 2:1 from the penalty spot.

The second half began with furious Senta attacks: Kerleta missed a big chance as early as its 5th minute, Sablatura two minutes later, and then Miklos. The third goal came from a move begun by Recsko, who won the ball in midfield, beat several defenders and set up Todorović very cleverly, and he had no trouble finishing past the advancing goalkeeper. The visitors still did not give up and Markov twice had to make brilliant saves. With Sablatura on, the Senta attack became more dangerous still, and from his intelligent cross Nikola Zmukić added the fourth from around the penalty spot. Hajduk were then awarded a penalty, but Džever shot half a metre wide.
