After three rounds the Senta players finally took their first two points. They seized control at the start and led in the 3rd minute, when Đurović, well placed at the corner of the box, shot unstoppably into the bottom right corner. The hosts stayed on top, and in the 13th minute Csuzdi scored a tremendous goal from thirty metres after a solo run. Even then the visitors did not give in and tried dangerous counter-attacks: in the 20th minute goalkeeper Markov needed all his skill to keep out a 35-metre shot from D. Damjanov. Polet pulled one back through Božović in the 38th minute after a goalmouth scramble.
Senta remained in control after the break, and the visitors mounted only two dangerous attacks. The pressure told in the 57th minute: Todorović crossed from the left, the ball reached Nikolić and he set up Agoston, who scored without hesitation. In the 65th minute the referee rightly sent off Bozanić for a serious foul, leaving Polet with nine outfield players. The hosts were completely dominant for the last 25 minutes, but took only one of four or five clear chances, Paku scoring from twenty metres.
